This page describes a feature added in the 7.5 branch of WHMCS.
Overview
The Tickets Tab is accessed via the
Clients > View/Search Clients page by selecting a client, then clicking the tab marked
Tickets. The
Tickets Tab contains a historical list view of the specific clients tickets along with ticket statistics and the ability to search real in real time and open a ticket for the client. This page will describe the various options and statistics displayed on the
Tickets Tab.
Actions
Open New Ticket
The first action you have available to you is the Open New Ticket action button which is located in the top right corner of the tab view page. This will open up a page to create a new ticket for the client just like if you would follow the link from the Open New Support Ticket link on the Client Summary tab under Other Actions.
Search/Filter
Right below the statistics panels, there is a search field that you can utilize for searching of the related clients tickets with results that change in realtime. You can search by a multitude of different things such as text within the
Subject, different
Statuses tickets are in, dates, the department, etc.
Ticket Tab Search/Filter Results
Currently the search/filtering only searches the data you can see on the page, meaning that the search/filter field does not search the contents of the ticket body messages for matching.
Statistics
On the
Tickets Tab you will see statistics panels at the top of the page with data for the clients activity regarding tickets. You have a quick way to check for tickets opened this month, tickets opened last month, all tickets opened within the calendar year and then all tickets opened within the previous calendar year. This can be handy for developing patterns and trends of ticket handling for admin staff.
