Added in WHMCS 8.0
We added the Users tab in WHMCS 8.0. For more information, see Accounts And Users.

The Users tab is accessed via Clients > View/Search Clients. Select a client and click Users. Users can own multiple client accounts, allowing a single user to switch between accounts and manage each separately. For more information, see Users and Accounts.

Adding a User

To add a new user, we recommend using the Client Area. You can also associate a user with an account via the Users tab.

Existing Users
If you send an invitation to an email address for an existing account, they can access the client account using their existing login credentials. If the email address does not correspond to an existing account, they can create one.

To associate a user and client account:

  1. Click Associate User.
  2. Choose an account from Select User.
  3. Check the boxes for the desired Permissions.
  4. Check Send Invite to send an invitation email.
  5. Click Associate User.

After you add or associate a user, they will display in Users in the client's profile. Click Resend Invite to resend the invitation email, or click Cancel Invite to cancel the invitation.

Managing Users

To change a user's permissions, click Manage Permissions for that user.

Remove Users

To remove a user's access to a client's account, click Remove User for that user.
