SpamExperts via WHMCS MarketConnect

WHMCS MarketConnect allows you to resell SpamExperts Email Solutions.

Setup and Configuration

To activate and begin reselling SpamExperts services via WHMCS MarketConnect:

Go to Configuration () > System Settings > MarketConnect or, prior to WHMCS 8.0, Setup > MarketConnect within your WHMCS Admin Area.
Click Activate under the SpamExperts product offering.

SpamExperts Automation

cPanel

When ordering a SpamExperts Service for a cPanel hosting account, WHMCS and MarketConnect fully automate the configuration process.

WHMCS will fetch the current MX records of the account and save them. Then, it will set up new SpamExperts-provided MX records to filter your email for you. If spam filtering is ever cancelled or terminated, WHMCS uses the saved previous records to restore your original MX records so that email routes to your hosting service.

Any Other Control Panel

If we can't automatically make the DNS MX record changes, we send an email to the client using the "SpamExperts Welcome Email" template, which explains the exact DNS MX records and how to make the changes to their DNS records. You can customize this template to match your hosting setup.

Admin Management Actions

For any SpamExperts order, an admin can perform the following actions:

Create — This runs the provisioning codepath if the addon did not auto-activate on payment approval (depends on product settings).
Terminate — This disables the SpamExperts service and, if the addon is for a cPanel server, it will reverse the DNS MX record changes.

From the MarketConnect Management page, admins can also perform single sign-on into their SpamExperts parent account. This allows them to manage all of the filtering services under their control.

Client Management Actions

When they log in to the Client Area, if a customer has an active SpamExperts service they will see a link to manage their website. This will use Single Sign-On to take them directly to the SpamExperts Control Panel to manage their email services.

Client Area Promotions

MarketConnect supports showing SpamExperts promotions in the Client Area homepage, the shopping cart, and when managing a web hosting product that does not have an attached SpamExperts service.
