Setup and Configuration

To activate and begin reselling CodeGuard via WHMCS MarketConnect, simply navigate to Setup > MarketConnect within your WHMCS admin area and click the Activate button under the CodeGuard product offering.

CodeGuard Automation

When ordering CodeGuard as an add-on to a Hosting or Reseller Account, WHMCS and MarketConnect fully automates the CodeGuard provisioning process. This includes automated provisioning of SFTP/FTP access credentials where required.

SFTP/FTP Access

The CodeGuard service utilises SFTP access to automatically backup your website.

For all CodeGuard plans, a dedicated SFTP account will be provisioned for cPanel hosting accounts and supplied to CodeGuard automatically. If the SFTP account creation fails, or when tested, is unavailable, or when using DirectAdmin hosting accounts, a dedicated FTP account is created and supplied. For Plesk servers the primary account login details are used.

If SFTP/FTP access is unable to be automatically provisioned successfully, the welcome email sent to the customer contains instructions for the user detailing how to create their website backup manually within their CodeGuard account.

Admin Management Actions

For any CodeGuard order, an Admin user is able to perform the following actions from the service management page:

• Login to CodeGuard Control Panel - Clicking this button will perform single sign-on into the CodeGuard dashboard for the given website.

Single Sign-On to the CodeGuard dashboard can also be accessed via the MarketConnect management page in Setup > MarketConnect > CodeGuard > Manage
