The announcements system, along with showing announcements on the WHMCS homepage, will also output announcements into an XML RSS Feed for use in readers and on other websites.
You can access this feature at Support > Announcements.
For issues that will affect client services, you may wish to use Support > Network Issues instead.
Create an Announcement
To create an announcement:
- Go to Support > Announcements.
- Click Add New Announcement.
- Enter the date, title, and announcement in the appropriate fields.
- If the announcement should be available publicly, check Published?. If you uncheck this, you can save this as a draft and publish the announcement later.
- If you want to display the announcement in additional languages, click the language beneath the main text area and enter the translated text for that language.
- Click Save Changes.
Manage Announcements
To edit an existing announcement, including publishing a draft, click the edit icon.
To delete an announcement, click the delete icon.
