By using the Quantum Vault option as opposed to the Quantum Gateway module, this means that clients credit card information never touches or passes through your website/server and thus the PCI Compliance requirements you have to meet are lessened, and the risks in accepting and storing credit card details on your server are completely negated.

About this Module

Quantum Vault is the remote storage version of the Quantum Gateway module. Quantum's server stores credit card details for rebilling rather than storing them in your WHMCS database. This reduces PCI compliance requirements and completely negates many risks.

Adding the Quantum Vault Payment Gateway

To set up the Quantum Vault payment gateway in WHMCS:

  1. Go to Configuration () > System Settings > Payment Gateways or, prior to WHMCS 8.0, Setup > Products/Services > Payment Gateways.
  2. Choose the All Payment Gateways tab.
  3. Click Quantum Vault.
  4. Check Show on Order Form to display this payment method in the Client Area during checkout.
  5. Enter your Quantum Vault credentials.
  6. Click Save Changes.

Do not check Disable Credit Card Storage at Configuration () > System Settings > General Settings > Security or, prior to WHMCS 8.0, Setup > General Settings > Security. This will disable entry to this gateway by a client.

Test Mode

This module does not support test mode.
