Activation
To activate and begin using the TPP Wholesale registrar module, follow the steps below:
- Log in to your WHMCS Admin Area.
- Navigate to Configuration () > System Settings > Domain Registrars or, prior to WHMCS 8.0, Setup > Products/Services > Domain Registrars.
- Locate TPP Wholesale in the list.
- Click the Activate button.
- Enter your TPP Wholesale API credentials.
- Click Save Changes to complete the process.
Configuration
You will need to enter your Account number, User id and API password of your TPP Wholesale account, these details can be found within Reseller Settings > API Preferences.
DefaultAccount enables you to group domain names to your main TPP Wholesale reseller account or replicate WHMCS client accounts. Leave this field blank if you are happy for WHMCS to create client accounts on the TPP Wholesale systems and group each client's domain registrations within them. If you'd prefer to have all the domain names simply grouped in one account on the TPP Wholesale systems, enter that Account Reference here.
You do not need to maintain positive balance with TPP Wholesale in order to register, transfer and renew domain names. You can have each domain name order billed to your credit card, helping with your business' cash flow.
Automatic Registration
WHMCS allows you to setup automatic domain registration on a per extension basis enabling you to use different registrars for different TLDs to give you the flexibility to offer more extensions and always get the best value. To enable automatic registration, please refer to Configuring Automatic Registration
Automatic Domain Synchronization
The TPP Wholesale module supports automatic domain synchronization for syncing of expiry dates and status changes for incoming transfers. To enable this functionality, you need to ensure you have the Domain Sync Enabled in Configuration () > System Settings > General Settings > Domains or, prior to WHMCS 8.0, Setup > General Settings > Domains. Ensure you have the Domain Sync Cron configured on your system.
