Activation

To activate and begin using the Namecheap registrar module:

  1. Log in to the WHMCS Admin Area.
  2. Go to Configuration () > System Settings > Domain Registrars or, prior to WHMCS 8.0, Setup > Products/Services > Domain Registrars.
  3. Find Namecheap2 in the list.
  4. Click Activate.
  5. Enter your Namecheap credentials.
  6. Click Save Changes.
  7. Open a Namecheap ticket to request API access to your Namecheap account for your server's IP address. You can find this IP address in WHMCS at Help > License Information.

Test Mode

Troubleshooting

Registrar Error Invalid Client IP

Seeing this error indicates that your Server IP has not been whitelisted for API access. Please refer to IP Registration above to resolve.
