About this Module

As of Tuesday 3rd of October 2017 the IDEAL module was no longer maintained and was removed from WHMCS. Use IDEALMollie instead.

IDEAL is a payment gateway module.

Adding the IDEAL Payment Gateway

To set up the IDEAL payment gateway in WHMCS:

Go to Setup > Products/Services > Payment Gateways.
Choose the All Payment Gateways tab.
Click IDEAL.
Check Show on Order Form to display this payment method in the Client Area during checkout.
Enter your IDEAL credentials.
Click Save Changes.

Certificate Files

The certifcate related files (.cer and .pem) can be uploaded anywhere, we recommend above the public_html directory of your site, and then enter the path to those files in the Private Key and Private Cert fields.

Certificate files can be created using OpenSSL. Instructions can be found in your Ideal Postbank/ING Manual

Do not forget to also upload your cert.cer file to your Postbank/ING Ideal Dashboard.
